Taylor Bedini

Taylor is two and a half years old and was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition called Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) at seven weeks old. TSC causes benign tumors to grow in vital organs of the body and Taylor has tumors in her brain, heart, skin, kidneys, and eyes. TSC is the leading cause of both epilepsy and autism. Due to tumors in Taylor's brain, Taylor has severe epilepsy. After trying many different anti seizure medications and diet therapies, Taylor underwent four brain surgeries this past summer for seizure control. Taylor has significant developmental delays and also struggles with anxiety. She requires frequent medical visits to Boston and also intense early intervention therapies. What comes easy for most, Taylor has to work very hard for but her spirit is pure love and we know she will never give up!
